About Andrew

I currently serve as President of the Chesapeake School Public Relations Association (CHESPRA), where I’ve had the privilege of leading a remarkable board committed to serving school communicators across D.C., Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. During my time as president, we nearly doubled membership, launched the Eat. Learn. Grow. professional development series and created CHESPRA’s Rapid Response Task Force to support colleagues facing sudden challenges in a rapidly changing educational landscape. I’m proud of what we’ve built because it wasn’t about spotlighting one voice, but lifting all voices together.

I’ve also been proud to contribute to NSPRA’s national work. I serve on the Communication Equity and Diversity Task Force, where we focus on ensuring NSPRA remains an inclusive, empowering space for all members. As one of the original Seminar Scoop reporters, I’ve helped amplify stories and moments that define our association. My work has been recognized with multiple NSPRA awards, including being named a 35 Under 35 honoree and a Front-Runner, but the recognition I value most is when a colleague says, “You made me feel seen.”

I’m running for Mideast Region Vice President because I want to continue building those connections across our region and elevate the role of school communicators in every district— rural, urban and suburban. Whether you’re a department of one or leading a full team, you deserve to feel seen, supported and part of a strong, thriving network. I lead with empathy, follow through with purpose and show up with integrity. Always.
